1. Set up automatic updates

Open Auto-Update in Weekwall and follow the guide. Install the supplied shortcut, Weekwall: Set Wallpaper, run the check and allow the requested actions. In Apple Shortcuts, create a daily Time of Day automation, choose Run Immediately and select Weekwall: Set Wallpaper. Keep the shortcut’s name unchanged. You can choose your preferred update time.

2. Wallpaper is out of date or does not apply

Open Weekwall and try applying the wallpaper manually. Check calendar permission, selected calendars, the shortcut and its automation. Make sure the automation runs immediately and targets the supplied shortcut. If it fails, add the shortcut again through Weekwall and reselect it in the automation. You can also save the wallpaper to Photos and set it manually. Automatic updates require Pro after the free auto-update period.

3. Missing events and permissions

Weekwall reads events from calendars available in Apple Calendar. Check that the events appear there and that the correct calendars are selected in Weekwall. Allow calendar access in iOS Settings. The photo picker only shares your selected image; permission to add photos is needed to save a generated wallpaper. Notification permission is optional.

4. Hide private event titles

In Weekwall, open Settings → Event Privacy → Hide Titles, then generate and apply the wallpaper again. Event times remain visible. Already saved images and the current Lock Screen do not change until you replace them.

5. Restore Pro, cancel or request a refund

Use Settings → Restore Purchases in Weekwall with the Apple Account used to buy Pro. Check your internet connection and purchase status. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; see Apple’s cancellation guide. Deleting Weekwall does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. The one-time purchase has no recurring payments.

6. Language, local data and privacy

Choose Weekwall’s language in iOS app settings. Removing the app can delete its local background and preferences; it does not delete original calendar events, saved photos or your automation. For privacy requests, email support. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
