Mortgage Tracker — Privacy Policy
Effective 4 October 2026.
All languages · Terms of Use · Support
This policy explains what data the Mortgage Tracker iOS app (called Ипотечник in Russian) collects, why, where and for how long it is kept, and what you can do about it. “We” means the app’s developer as listed on its App Store page.
Summary
- The app sends to analytics the numbers you enter into a calculation and its results: property price, deposit, rate, term, payment, total interest and others. This is financial data.
- The app does not ask for or collect your income.
- Calculation names and any other text you type are never sent anywhere.
- The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or precise location.
- Data is not sold and, in the current version, is not shared with partners.
- Analytics cannot be turned off inside the app. Section 5 explains how to stop collection.
1. What data is collected
1.1. Calculation inputs and results
When you run a calculation or recalculate a scenario, the app sends:
- calculation inputs: property price, deposit as an amount and as a percentage, annual interest rate, loan term, payment type (annuity or differentiated), currency code;
- your scenario values: extra payment amount and mode, monthly rent and its annual growth, annual property value growth;
- results: loan amount, monthly payment, total of payments, interest paid, interest relative to the loan amount, final term.
The app does not ask how much you earn and does not send information about your income, salary, savings or other loans. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first.
These numbers are not linked to your name or Apple Account — only to a random installation identifier (section 1.3).
1.2. Usage data
- which screens you open and which actions you take: calculate, save, delete, export the schedule, expand scenarios, change currency or theme;
- for a calculation name, only the fact that it was renamed and the length of the name, never the text itself;
- subscription events: paywall shown, period selected, purchase completed, cancelled or failed with an error code, purchases restored;
- ad impressions, if ads are enabled.
1.3. Identifiers
- Firebase installation ID — a random identifier created when the app is installed and replaced when it is reinstalled. It contains no name, email address or phone number.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — used only for ads, and only if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt. App analytics does not use the IDFA.
1.4. Technical data
Device model, iOS and app version, interface language, approximate country based on IP address, session length, technical error codes.
1.5. What we do not collect
- names of saved calculations, a custom currency symbol or any other text you type;
- PDF and CSV schedule files: they are created on your device, and you decide where to send them;
- name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos;
- precise location;
- payment details: Apple handles the subscription, and we never see your card number or Apple Account details.
1.6. What stays on your device
Saved calculations, their names and app settings are stored on your device and are not sent to us. Counters of free actions — scenario recalculations with your own values and schedule exports — are kept in the iOS secure storage (Keychain) on your device and survive reinstalling the app.
2. Why the data is collected
- To run and improve the app: to see whether people reach a result, which calculations and scenarios they use and where errors occur.
- For monetisation: to estimate demand for the subscription and the effect of ads.
- To understand what mortgage calculations people make: which amounts, rates and terms are most common. These statistics guide product development, including possible future services with partner banks.
- To show ads, if ads are enabled.
We do not use the data for automated decisions with legal effects for you and do not share it with banks.
3. Who receives the data
- Google LLC — processor for app analytics and remote configuration (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations) and for the Google BigQuery analytics export, if the export is enabled. Google processes the data on our behalf.
- Google AdMob — if ads are enabled. AdMob may receive approximate location based on IP address, ad impressions and taps and, only with your permission to track, the advertising identifier. Without permission, non-personalised ads are shown. With Mortgage Tracker Pro, ads are not shown and no requests are sent to AdMob.
- Apple — processes subscription purchases and renewals through the App Store under its own privacy policy.
Google servers may be located outside your country of residence.
Partners. In the current version, data is not shared with banks, brokers or other third parties. If that ever changes, we will ask for separate consent in the app and update this policy. Data collected before such consent will not be shared with partners.
We do not sell data. We may disclose it if required by law or by a binding request from a public authority.
4. How long data is kept
- Firebase analytics events linked to the installation ID — 14 months from collection.
- Event export to Google BigQuery, if enabled — 3 years from collection, then deleted.
- Aggregated statistics not linked to an identifier — without a time limit.
- Ad data in Google AdMob — under Google’s rules.
- Saved calculations and settings on your device — until you delete them or the app.
- Free action counters in the Keychain — until the device is reset.
- Support emails — as long as needed to reply and to meet legal obligations.
5. How to stop data collection
There is no switch in the app that turns analytics off, and there is no separate consent screen. By using the app, you agree to the data collection described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
- Stop collection completely — delete the app. Once it is deleted, no more data is sent. A reinstall creates a new identifier, and new data is not linked to the old data.
- Disallow tracking for ads — in iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Settings → Mortgage Tracker → Allow Tracking. Ads remain but become non-personalised.
- Delete saved calculations — swipe a calculation in the Calculations list. Deleting the app removes them too.
- Cancel the subscription — iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling does not affect analytics.
A link to this policy is available in the app under Settings → About → Privacy Policy and on the subscription screen.
Data deletion requests. Collected data is linked only to a random installation ID, so we cannot find or delete a specific person’s data by name or email address. Write to us (section 10) and we will tell you what can be done in your case.
6. Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Security
Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the developer has access to analytics and exported data. No network or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics scripts, ads or tracking cookies to it. GitHub processes requests to the site under its privacy statement.
9. Changes to this policy
A new version is published at the same address with a new date. We will tell you in the app about material changes, such as sharing data with partners, before they take effect.
10. Contact us
Questions and data requests: napp.dev.support@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords, Apple Account details or card numbers.
When you write to us, we receive your email address, message and attachments. We use them only to reply.
