This policy describes how Glimmer — Affirmations handles information. The developer responsible for the app is identified on its App Store page. Contact: napp.dev.support@gmail.com.
1. Information on your device
There is no developer account or sign-in. Your own affirmations, favourites, viewing history, selected topics and goals, grammatical gender, appearance and reminder preferences are stored on your device. The widget reads a local snapshot through shared app storage. We do not operate an account-based cloud service for this content. Apple device backups depend on your settings.
Reminders are local notifications and require your permission. Affirmation text may appear in notifications and widgets on your device; choose your notification preview settings accordingly. Sharing opens the iOS share sheet and sends the content you choose to the recipient or service you select. The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone or precise location.
2. Analytics, diagnostics and configuration
Google Analytics for Firebase collects app interactions and technical information. Our own events and user properties cover:
- onboarding: step viewed, chosen grammatical gender, number of selected goals, notification permission outcome, completion, flow and duration;
- the purchase screen: where it was opened, screen variant, display, selected plan, purchase start, trial start, purchase, failure, restore result and closing;
- purchases: Apple transaction details used to measure revenue and renewals, such as product, price and currency;
- the feed: number of affirmations viewed per session, topic opened, adding or removing a favourite, sharing and the number of personal affirmations;
- app use: whether the app was opened from its icon or the widget, whether reminders are on and how many times a day, and whether a widget is added;
- user properties: grammatical gender, selected goal topics, Premium status and plan, and whether a widget and notifications are enabled.
Our events and properties do not include the text of affirmations, including your own.
Technical data can include device model, app and operating-system versions, language, approximate region, session information and app-instance or installation identifiers. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, diagnostic information and associated installation identifiers. Firebase Remote Config uses installation identifiers to deliver app configuration, including the minimum supported app version. These services help us understand usage, fix failures and maintain the app. The current app has no separate switch to disable all analytics and crash reporting.
3. Purchases
The app does not show ads, contains no advertising SDKs and does not request tracking permission.
Apple processes Premium purchases. The app receives transaction information to verify access, including the product and subscription validity. Purchase-related events can also be processed by Analytics as described above. We do not receive your full payment-card details or Apple Account password. Premium does not disable analytics or crash reporting.
4. AI-assisted content
Some built-in content was created with the help of artificial intelligence before publication. The current app does not send your own affirmation text to an AI service to generate responses. Adding a personal affirmation saves it locally. Sharing it or sending it to support discloses the information you choose through those channels.
5. Purposes, legal grounds and recipients
We process information to provide app features and purchases, maintain reliability, understand usage, configure the app and respond to support requests. Depending on the processing and applicable law, legal grounds may include performance of a contract, consent where required, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the app where permitted. Using the app or accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required by law.
Recipients include Apple for purchases, Google for Firebase and the email provider used for support. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards and processing terms depend on the service and jurisdiction. See Firebase privacy and security, Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Retention and security
Local information remains until you delete it or remove the app; backup copies follow your Apple backup settings. User-level Analytics data follows the retention period configured for the Google Analytics property; aggregated reports may remain longer. Firebase documents a 90-day retention period for crash reports and associated identifiers before deletion begins. Remote Config installation identifiers remain until a deletion request is made to Firebase. Support messages are retained as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.
Removing the app stops new app activity but does not immediately erase information previously received by service providers. Network services use encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can delete your own affirmations in the app, remove favourites, change preferences and manage notification permission and previews in iOS Settings. Removing the app deletes its local app storage, subject to device backups and shared widget storage managed by iOS.
Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Send requests to napp.dev.support@gmail.com. We may need information that links a request to an installation; a name or email address alone may not identify SDK data. We will explain available steps and respond within applicable legal time limits. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
8. Children, support and this website
The app is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal data can contact us.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments. The app's support email draft includes app version, iOS version and device model; you can edit it before sending. Please avoid sending sensitive health information, passwords or payment credentials.
These documentation pages use no advertising SDKs, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. GitHub Pages, the hosting provider, logs visitors' IP addresses for security under the GitHub Privacy Statement. External sites and your email provider have their own policies.
9. Changes and contact
We publish revisions at this address with an updated date and provide additional notice or request consent where required. Questions: napp.dev.support@gmail.com.
